Hood Struts, a cheaper route!

I read this on another forum but i will share.



My 06 struts were Bad to the extent of giving me a 4 inch gash on the side of my head!



06 mopar unit were about 30ish a piece. (orig # 55276321AC)



the new trucks (i believe 09, have a different part (# 1-55372200AA)



I installed the new version, to my door for two, was less $40!

They fit and work Great!!

When lifting hood it raises by its self just before it clears the core support. (like an easy up!)





Good replacement and mod!!!

Is identical to the original, but instead of the ram being shiny and chrome, its kinda like a light greyish color. I don't care, they work great!!
(I am tired of donating blood to this truck)

You are saying that you replaced the 3rd gen struts with 4th gen struts, right???

yes 3rd with the fourth gen. they wok better, and cheaper.
