heck yeah... . i had to work but still got to listen to the game on the radio... . talk about a good game... during the last 2:00 minutes of the game we were all standing around the radio waiting to see if texas would pull it out and snap USC's winning streak..... a well deserved championship for a awesome team..... it was kidna ironic no one gave texas a chance :-laf

I figured all along Texas would beat USC. Being an Ohio State fan, I got a good look at UT earlier in the year and I saw what OSU did to ND, a team that should have beaten USC. I remember 3 years ago all we heard was how great Miami was, how bad they were gonna blow out OSU etc etc. Well OSU shocked them, and I'm very happy UT shocked those weirdo's from LALA land! What a great game and congrats LongHorns. I wish there was a playoff system set in place. How great would it be to see UT and OSU meet up again?

Well, if it had to be, then a Big12 Texas win is better than seeing those PAC10 wussies be the first to three-peat. :-laf



I based my prediction for the game on what Oklahoma did to Oregon - not a blowout but a good win for an unranked OU over the #6 ranked Ducks - that previously had only lost to the vaunted USC in a game where the Ducks led throughout the entire first half.



Congrats Horns. May my beloved Huskers knock the snot out of your noses next year.

I'd like to see Buckeye/Longhorn re-match too! OSU has more D than 'horns, at this point in season. Even though V. Y. is the 'prototype QB', consistant and incessant pounding by D. E. and LB slows him down. . his great advantage. The University of Texas has a fine team, as does USC and the game was easy to watch. Neither has a great defense. WVa / UT would be an interesting slug-out also.

The game went almost as I predicted.

I said it would be a CLOSE game.

I said Texas would win.

I said it would be a very high scoring game.



Two out of three ain't too bad.

Both defenses were better than I thought they were.
