Hooters Get Together!!

Hey RMTDR'ers. Lets have a burgers, beer, and BS session over at Hooters. While this meeting is going to be in Northern Colorado in Fort Collins to be exact, we are going to try and switch things up and the next get together will be in Denver area. So anyway, burgers, beer, soot, the whole nine yards.



Where: Hooters-2631 College Avenue, Fort Collins, CO

When: Saturday November 22, 2003 @ 4:30 pm

Hmm. I haven't been that far NORTH in a long time.



I just might make that trip (and check out the open house at Xtreme Performance in Erie along the way) instead of doing an ATV ride on Saturday.



EDIT: Ooops!

The Xtreme Performance open house was LAST WEEKEND. I missed it!



Now I'm not sure what I'm doing this weekend. I'll have to re-think the whole situation.

Boy I would love to come, but they are forecasting some winter weather for Saturday :{ . So I going to play it by ear. Maybe with some other Wyo members we can go together (Hohn, TPCdrafting).

Now combine these two great things and you have perfection.

Am I the only one that thinks that's about as good as it gets?

I'm on call this weekend and there just might be some people going without heat so that I can attend.

Especially if you have 4WD, chains, shovel, tow-strap, boots, gloves, coat, etc! When it snows, I like to PLAY!



So far, all I've heard about for this weekend is cold weather and a chance of snow. Did I miss something? Any predictions of more than a foot or 2?

Can't make it.

I will be down in Gallup, NM on the 22nd but I would like to come to one of the RMTDR events. Will my membership to TDR get me in or do I have to sign up somewhere else? When is the next event? Does RMTDR have a website?

I believe the next event is the February 7th, 2004 RMTDR Event at ATS Diesel Performance in Denver, Colorado

Nevermind that the title of the topic says Jan 11; the date has been changed.

Mark you calendar - you don't want to miss this one!



I know Kevin Arts used to run a RMTDR web page, but it kinda disappeared and I haven't seen any links to a new one. Then again, maybe that was the plan, just like when I was a kid and my family moved and didn't tell me!

Concerning the weather, I see most of you have 4wd which is great. But, with a somewhat modified 2wd truck (unless you drive around with a couple thousand lbs of tools in the back like someone I know) they just do not get around very well even if you think there is moisture on the road you get no traction and the a$$ end comes around in a heart beat. JMO with my truck. Snow and wet roads equals get out the 4wd and GO.

HEY jeff i am gona try if we can get a sitter. is it ok if i bring my own hooters? they get mighty upset if i dont spend saturdays with them! also i just got a fresh set of BFG A/Ts so im ready for anything!! so how many people do you got so far?..... chris

We will have to see. If so the little woman would probably be along and have to drive the Jeep if it's wet or anything.
