Hopper Fuel Gauge

Any one with hopper fuel gauge. I have a question. On a 1999 which plug on the fuel filter housing do you use. Inside or outside ? Any other thing I need to know when installing it or using the gauge.

You can use either one. One port is for pre-filter pressure and the other is for post-filter. If I remember correctly, the outside one is the pre-filter.
