But it wont stop. It seems that when the kid sprays his coke all over the steering wheel the horn buttons get sticky and don't release right away. question is how do I get in there to clean them up without gettin a face full of airbag or should I chain it down first.

I`d try using alcohol and some cotton balls + qtips before disassembling the buttons. soak the cotton balls down real good so the alcohol gets down into the button. wont hurt the contacts and dries up nice. .
