Is there a reasonably cheap, bolt-on replacement horn that sounds a little better than stock? I don't want an air horn, just something a little deeper; the stock one just sounds like a regular car, not a truck.
I have a set of dual horns off a mid-80s fleetwood brougham I'd love to install on my truck. How hard of a wiring job is this? Any tips on how to do this? I assume the existing horns are on a wiring harness?
You just need to use a relay that's powered from the battery... . the existing horn circuit controls the relay and the load is directly from the battery... . simple, $15 worth of parts plus the electric horns...
