I've been trying to adjust my Smarty SSR to tune out the rattle but it seems like if I give it any timing '5' or more it rattles like crazy until I get a little boost. As soon as any boost comes on the rattle goes away.
When cold it builds boost much quicker and there is no rattle.
I'm wondering if the water cooled compound turbos are adding too much heat causing pre ignition or maybe the intake is sucking in hot air causing pre ignition.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks
John
