I am just wondering who has the highest horsepower and torque numbers from you 12v and 24v CTDs? I am not trying to start a fuding match, as a am just amazed how much power we can squeeze out of a 6bta!! Oo.

The highest dyno sheet I have seen printed is with drugs on a 24V by Diesel Dynamics. There are several 24V over 750HP, the highest 12V dyno sheet printed I am aware of is Joe D at 630 or so. Unless Joe D comes out with some more power or the midwest guys finally get some of their heros on a dyno I think the 24V will be king of power, well on paper anyway. :p :p :p

HP Wars

illflem is correct, Joe D. did not use any 'drugs' to make 630 hp.

Unsubstantiated rumor has it that HVAC has taken the VP44 to 650 HP on just straight #2

Looking forward to MAY-MADNESS 2003:D :D :D

high power

Either pump a 44 or 7100 it doesn't matter, i would like to see some big torque numbers also. Oo.

i think the answer u want now will be a little off. I think we are all going to have to wait til MM to see who is dyno queen and who is fastest. I would really like to see some big time pullers there too to see who will be on top. I have a fealing a lot of people will be keeping their lips shut til MM, but this is just my opinion of what is happening now.

ttt

Ya'll didn't take care of this after MM02 and now MM03 has past. Well?

Joe D with the 12v/7100 was at 633 forever and then mid 700's is simply amazing. It's in his sig. He does it with single turbo and only #2.

The drugged and double-pumpers put out even bigger numbers.

Some 24v's now have 7100's. I doubt that any 12v's are wearing 44's. I think the 24v/7100 will pull the biggest numbers, but I don't know of anyone competing with Joe and his 12v as far as #2/single goes.

I personally witnessed Maddog out of Utah do 792 hp/1413ft-lbs on Bullydog's dyno on June 27th. with his '96. Straight #2 diesel, no drugs. He recently did over 800 on another dyno from what I heard.

Great numbers on #2! How many turbos?

WadePatton,

He has twins. PDR cam and stupid pump. Performance Diesel injectors. Plus misc.

Here's a link to more info on the event.
