Can someone give me a guess as to how much hp / torque they think I have with the mods in my sig?

Also, how long will my stock auto hold up with normal driving and occasional towing of around 5k lbs? I know this is kind of an open ended question, but I really have no idea of my hp and don't want to fry my trans the first time a drop the pedal with a load on it.

Is there anyone (diesel shop or individual) close to Chattanooga,TN that could help me advance my timing? I have read that advancing the timing will help with my high egt's and also increase performance.

I am full of questions as I learn about my 12V and I have learned alot from this website. Thanks in advance for the help.

Maybe 250 FWHP.

No good way to answer that question. Every transmission will handle the power differently. I could slip my stock torque convertor at stock power, no load on or behind the truck. Let alone with the #10 in stock postion, and then the 370s finished it off 6k miles later. Got so I could slip the trans empty going uphill on the interstate with a headwind. Would shake the whole truck.

Some trannys will take more, some less. Only one way to find out. ;) :-laf

Yep, I`d have to agree with bmoeller. . I could make my stock transmission do some weird things even on stock power, when mashin the pedal. . now after the build it just takes off.

Best to just start saving for a transmission, and drive it easy. When I talked to the transmission guy, he said a working rebuild is much cheaper than a fried rebuild. Only way to be sure of the auto holding with mucho HP is to get a good built auto. .

good luck

?milage ? boost pressure?

I could slip mine to thats what brought me to the local preformance shop.

we pluged in the scanner and went to long john silvers for a bite we discussed nomal and extrodinary trucks in the area and what they were running. approx HP is BOOST x 10 will ball park you this could be off 30hp

under 100k transmission's hold up well and may not need rebld all are case by case.

at that time my truk was @ 265k or so I was told "a stock trans will not hold up to your hp range (stock plate full forward Boost @ 25-27) but if you install a dunrite trans buddy v-body excange for $180 you will save your trans and have time to save for a rebuild and t/c. by the way Tony at dunrite despises doing this and fix it right if you hve the "getus on the hip". so I did it my self with lock up switch and all. my trans is still alive today 329k and pushing 40-42lbs boost. don't get me wrong I NEED A REBUILD but my shop has my money and when I get t WV we will fix it right.

I will be installing a dunrite single and helping with the "race style" (setting the clutches tight) rebuild by the way tony includes updated seals in the trans buddy kit to improve dodges enginering and machining problems.

I will also change my transmission cooler to a diffrent type

blowing smoke

I moved my uncles PC 40 komatsu mini excavator 10,000lbs for him with a 3 axle traler 2,500lbs after all mods in lock up 2nd 3rd and o/d could be slipped but at 300k on a stock t/c what do you expect?

I ran 346hp with my mods and there was more, but my clutch is slipping badly. Mods seem similar to yours, besides intake and exhaust, the only thing I have done to my truck is grind my fuel plate. Its my best rendition of a #10. So depending on losses through your transmission you may be close.

My stock trans seam slouggish to me

I got my 95 Dodge Class C motor Home last year with 30,000 miles. Driving It home the trans seam sluggish to me. On the Interstate It work fine but when pulling out of a rest stop which you had to build up speed because of the traffic was a bit hard to do. After a 10,000 trip out west and had no problem I decided to have the trans rebuilt by Dave In Iowa. WOW what difference. Got way more power and now pulling out of a rest stop no problem, get up to speed easy. The guys on TDR was the answer for me. I love the Cummins engine good fuel mileage 14 to 17. 6 but have not check It since the trans rebuilt? Should be better I would think. That Cummins don't know what a hill Is. I now love the automatic transmission. Now we got one more dog which makes 3 to ride with us In the Motor Home.

boost x10 sorry i have to disagree with this one with my set up at 50 pounds i dynod 371 hp and i know with a 6 plate and spring kit i was at at 35 psi and i obiously was not making 350 Hp

The Boost x 10 equation works better on a stock truck. I can make 45#, but I'm pretty sure I'm not making 450hp at the flywheel.
