A-2-Z Ben, when I first started reading your post, my first impression was how odd it seemed to relate to the the OP. But after reading the entire post I realized how important the GPH (Gallons Per Hour) is when it comes to increasing HP and even though it has sort of been mention by installing larger injectors in the past, it has never been matched all the way through filtration (water as well as microns) injection and pump abilities. Great post, now that my warranty from Cummins is over through time (07 MY C&C) and milage only at 42K, I will be increasing the fuel filtration and pump ability. But an important question related to the in-tank pump with the sending unit reporting the level of fuel in the tank, will it have to be removed seeing how it wont keep up with the Fass system? (For my C&C)
I initially was going to install a Fass system on my 04. 5 that I sold my brother, and when the factory installed pump failed they installed the in-tank replacement, and the old pick-up assembly was given back to me explaining that I needed to reinstall it, if I went to the Fass system. It was explained to me that the in-tank pump cant keep up with the Fass system and it will damage it. Next year, I'm going to start to concentrate on inceasing HP and installing the appropriate gages and equipment needed to give higher HP without giving up durability.
Thanks again
Steve
