Kyle,
I think that are 5/8". However the correct hoses can be purchased from Cummins.

Please provide your truck VIN or the engine serial number (located on the tag on the valve cover, 8 numbers long).

If you don't want to post them here, please e-mail me with the info. I will look it up in the morning.

It is an oddball size that looks to be 9/16". They are pre-formed so bending heater is not going to work long term but a loner loop might get you by until you get the correct ones.

Ok, finally got the little buggers off, It appears that a Dayco A70001 hose fits, its a cut to fit. According to my Computer @ Auto Zone, ( I work there part time)it is listed for my 2004 , just doesn't say what it s for???? Down side is I had only one in stock, so will have to wait until tomorrow to finish it up. Anyone know if there is more rubber hoses in the cooling for the transmission, I am replacing all hoses at this time, the ones on there were oem.
Thanks
Kyle

Kyle,

Once again get me a VIN or ESN and I'll give you a picture with Cummins numbers that you can cross over... ... ... ... ... ... .

Mike, thanks for the offer, but the daycos fit just fine.
Of course that's not the half of it, for the record there a FOUR 90 degree hoses used. 2 on the cooler, one right behind the ECM going into the block and one hidden under the turbo on the other side of the motor. The one next to the ECM is hidden behind fuel lines and wiring harness and you can not get to it with the wheel well in place. ALL four hoses are shot and were ready to pop, bet the ECM would not be a happy camper getting showered in hot anti freeze. So FYI, you might want to replace them before they blow, this is not a road side repair. When doing this remove the front left tire and wheel well, get a hose clamp tool that has a cable remote. That's best way I can see doing it unless someone has a better idea.
Kyle

PS I believe the OEM part # is 05086944AA but Dayco A70001 Fits by trimming it down.
