what are some of the TDR Members favorites?

My wife brought home a jar of Vlasic Hot Peppers from Arizona and they are pretty good compared to the other CRAP available on NW chain stores.

Chime in with your favorite brands :)

And yes I do accept donations :D

We buy sliced jalapeno's by the 1. 8L jug-"Star" brand from Costco----a jug lasts about 2 weeks here! Love the things on everything.

I love those hot peppers on just about anything, had 'em on a personal pizza tonight. Just don't like them sprayed in my eyes, that really $ucks   :) .

Matouk's Calypso Sauce

or Matouk's hot pepper sauce. I found these in Honduras about 5 yrs ago, but they are actually made in Trinadad. I haven't been able to find them locally but they are avalable in the US. Wonderful flavor and a little bit goes a long way. Whenever I findsome I usualy stock up.

Has anyone tried any bread and butter jalapeno's ? They are different and really good. I just made up a batch today. I hope they turn out as good as the ones I have bought.

If you can eat habanieros, you don't need a torch in your shop; if you want to heat something, just blow on it. Those suckers are HOT. A mexican friend made us some salsa using those a couple years ago. I like hot stuff, but that was unbearable!! But you are right about the flavor.
