i AM GOING TO BUILD MY OWN TWIN SETUP AND I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS

I AM GOING TO USE AN HX35 AND A HT60.

WHAT IS THE RADIUS OF THE BEND AND THE LENGTH FOR THE HOTPIPE

WHAT IS THE RADIUS OF THE CHARGE AIR PIPE AND WHAT IS THE BEST DIAMETER 3, 3. 5, 4"

SHOULD AN EXTERNAL WASTEGATE BE USED, OR IS THE EXISTING WASTEGATE ON THE STOCK TURBO FINE.

WHEN BUILDING THE HOTPIPE SHOULD I SWITCH FROM THE 3" THAT WILL WELD THE THE FLANGE FOR THE HX35 TO A 3. 5" OR 4" SO IT CAN BE SHAPED TO COVER THE HOLE IN THE FLANGE THE THE HT 60 OR SHOULD I JUST KEEP THE 3" AND MAKE THAT WORK.

First, welcome to the TDR. Second, please turn off your caps key. Capitol letters on an internet forum IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING! :)

Unless you are shouting at us?

And finally, should you really tackle this project? There are some fine twin turbo sets from a variety of vendors available. Maybe your skills aren't quite up to this level.

But, if you insist, may I suggest the books 'Turbochargers' by Hugh MacInnes and 'Maximum Boost' by Corky Bell.

Now to answer you in order of asked.

The radius and length will dictate placement of the primary in the engine bay, so this will vary.

Which bend? The charge air pipe usually sports two different bends, depending on how you have the compressor housing clocked, so this will also vary.

An external wastegate is favored simply because it is felt the stock WG are generally too small to control turbine speed effectivley. It is best to slow the secondary and boost the primary while at the same time allowing more exhaust gasses to escape.

In building the hot pipe you will find that your'e going to need to merge the external WG exhaust to the HT-60s mating flange or to the pipe itself if a bigger diameter is used. Talk to a local pipefitter, and make sure to get the angle right. It's all about flow.
