Where are you guys getting the best price on Rancho shocks right now? I have kinda lost track since I bought mine, my dad and a buddy are both looking to get a set of the new 9000X's.

Thanks in advance for the help!!

RANCHO 9000 SHOCKS

How do you get the adjustment knob to turn??. . When if won't ??

Two turn to all the settings... One turns to 2 settings and one doesn't move???

Bought mine from Summit Racing, they're doing the buy 3 get 1 free deal as well. Though it doesn't show up that way on the bill, each shock is just discounted 25%.

The price from Sam's includes shipping.

I went to check out at Sam's offroad website, and the price does include shipping. I haven't checked Summit's price yet.

Warranty?

The old style 9000's were lifetime guaranteed. Who do you get this done thru if you have a bad one and the dealer you bought from is no longer in business? Thanks.

MISTER GEORGE

I guess NO ONE ELSE KNOW's how to get them replaced either!!!!!??

I seems like kind of a SCAM if they have a LIFE TIME GUARANTEE but no way to make whole again!!!!

OH WELL,,,,,,,, such is life... ... ... ... . LOL

Whoops, sorry. Contact Rancho, you do not need a dealer if you have reciepts. They will also help you out most of the time without reciepts if you ask.

BUT, I don't know if 251. 99 is such a good price. They have "free" shipping, but you pay 8 bucks "handling. "

I haven't purchased anything from them. Their prices seem alot higher than others.

800 #,,,,,,, JUST RINGS

YES I sprayed the knobs... ... long time ago... ... .

I've taken advantage of the "deals" at 4wp a couple of times and I assure you I will NOT do it again. If you are close enough to go into one of their stores fine, but if you have to have it shipped go somewhere else.

They advertise "free shipping" but then raise their prices higher than everyone elses so when everything is final you're paying the same price as the other guy who charges for shipping. The BIG difference is the shipping method. Just like the old saying goes, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. The two times I've placed an order with them it got to me between 1-3 weeks later than what they PROMISED and it came to my door on the back of a semi. The first order was on a crate and the driver didn't even have a way to unload it because they don't even deliver to residence as a general rule. He acted like I was the dummy for not having a fork lift at my house  I know the fault there lies with the shipping company but had they used a legitimate shipping company that would not have happened.

I just bought a set of tires off of them and they ride TERRIBLE to say the least. When I called to see what they were going to do about the problem they tried to SELL me another set of tires!

Sorry for the rant but I've heard too many stories like mine and want to help others avoid the hassle.

Stupid question about these shocks

What do I gain from them? I don't have a lift kit, and my 2003 is very civilized in the ride dept...

thanks, and be gentle.

Those prices were about 2 months ago. Rancho was overwhelmed with orders and it has taken nearly 2 months to fill the orders that were placed. My guess is they figure with orders like that the price is too low and adjusted accordingly... .....

Keep looking, you should not have to pay more than $250 for a set any day of the week.

What model number are you guys using for the front? I just put some rs99221 on my truck and it is horrible. The front end now has a lot of noise and movement. I hace the GVW 8800 and snow plow prep. Can't get ahold of rancho to save my life. Should I be using the rs99197 shock?

Thanks

I have 97's and 98's on my truck, sounds like you got the wrong ones. Do a search on it, the correct number has been posted a dozen times at least... ...

AFacey

The Bottom bolts on the front shocks had to be VERY tight on mine and several others to stop rattling. It seems like the bushings are slightly narrower than the stock shocks.
