hot rod vp44 and mpg???

was kind of throwing the idea around about replacing my stock vp44 with a hot rod vp44. what will this do to my mpg.

My overall MPG actually improved slightly after the HR VP-44 install. Of course, I have no idea how much the ailing factory pump was effecting efficiency to begin with.

The jury is still out on mine, I can't keep my foot out of it long enough to get a good baseline. The overhead console says low 30's does that count? :-laf

i don't trust that thing anyways, but it sure looks cool to look up at it and see your getting 30-40mpg though. the best is when the passenger does not know the real truth. anyways, what kind of power difference are you guys finding, recommend it or not?

We have seen an increase in fuel mileage in our testing. It's not a huge increase but 1-2mpg is nice too. Thanks

My vp-44 was dying a slow death over the last year. Mileage was down to about 13. I just installed a hot rod 44 and my mileage is back up where it used to be around 16-17. Maybe even a hair better, but it's hard to tell for sure as I cant seem to control myself and drive nice for a change!
