Well this Would be the first post I have done, not such a good one I think!! It started when the second pump took a, well you know. I looked around and thought to try the HRVP. Well so far bad luck. :( I know that i should have expected a rough or loby idle. But what I am getting is ridiculous. While in reverse or drive the idle drops and is just fine almost stock actually but in park and neutral the truck sputters and shakes. It is like sitting in an earth quake. I have the TST PM3 and the little LED fuel light constantly flashes on and off while it is doing it, it is just fine whit a load on the engine though. Also i keep resetting the codes but this time the truck threw a the usual 1693 along with an 0602. I have the smarty so i know what it is but why:confused:?? Well i need some help from all you diesel geniuses!!!

I have been involved with 3 HRVP's The 1st one about a year ago, idled rough and choppy, ran out fine under a load. That truck had stock injectors at the time, but after he put a set of 150hp (Edge i think) it idles much better now.

2nd truck already had a set of 200hp stix in it and it idles smooth with a HRVP, always did.

3rd truck we just put on a few weeks ago and it's a little choppy at idle, not bad, stock injectors and an edge ez only. rougher than the other two trucks with stix.

I'm not a HRVP expert, and if i had any questions i would call Brady at II. This is just what i've noticed with the HRVP on trucks around here. Seems like a bigger injector agrees with the HRVP. All the trucks ran out great, but idled rough with stock stix.

I dont have any experience with the TST/Smarty combo, can't comment on that setup.

and with the new so called "monster vp" the lines and injectors both need to be modified.

"not an II product" to clear the air.

I've had a hrvp for 2 yrs. or so. My truck idles normal, but in neutral or park it starts to sputter when I bring rpm's up to 2k. Coasting down a grade it will sputter if I barely touch the pedal. Under load it is smooth as a stock pump. These conditions were consistent when I had stock injectors or II M-4's

Only a few have them... . I don't know his name and there is no web site. They are Competition only pumps, not for the street.

i think you may have a problem with your TST. it should never light up for fueling while setting in park or neutral. should only fuel under a load. i am running a TST comp, power puck, smarty stack with mach 7s and a HRVP and it idles better than stock. a little loud, kinda sounds like a 13mm p pump but it idles smooth.
