Thanks, TDR Staff

my awning fell off

That Time of Year..........

That was a bad one. I know it was just a partial video of the clean up but it didn't appear that they secured the leaky fuel tanks. I would have liked to see a close up of the truck hitch. The trailer appeared to have survived pretty good other than the hitch pipe.

I would have also liked to see the rear of the semi trailer. The pickup damage is really high up, like the trailer bumper failed or it didn't have one.

WOW, very bad! We don't know the story about what happend... hot shotter following too close to 18 wheeler that emergency stopped, came up from behind too fast, 18 wheeler passed, cut in front, and braked, hot shotter brakes inadequate brakes etc... There's no doubt this guy was heavy.

My experience towing heavy RV from several years and towing heavy generators last hurricane season my biggest comlaint was 18 wheelers passing me an cutting over 15-20 feet in front of me, effectively eliminating my safe following distance. I like several hundred feet following distance when running loaded at 65MPH. I anticipate heading out on first camping trip with new Super C MH and towed (toad) Wrangler... we'll see how this experience is the same and different.

Hope the driver was safe and Cheers to all, Ron

That looks to be on Hwy 10 East of Palm Springs in CA. 760 is the prefix in that area.

No wonder it held up, it's a LongHorn.

"KING" if you have not done so post this on RV.NET

Speaking of bad wrecks. This one made the news about a month ago. Just came across a short video.

Yep thats it. The news piece did not mention the eye witness. Stopping in the middle of the road and watching that train wreck coming at me probably wouldn't have been on my agenda!
