I have spent the better part of the day meticulously looking for a hot to ignition. Preferably a fuse tap. I checked all of the ignition hot fuses and with the engine off I was reading 12V. I take great pride in using my Fluke.
How come when I measure from an ignition hot source (lighter)to ground with the ignition off I read 12V? I would have thought I would have read 0 volts and 12 volts with the ignition on. #@$%!
I searched the forum and found some people using their lighers for ignition hot. Not my number one pick.
How should I be measuring for a hot to ignition?
Thank you.
