I've heard that #6 cylinder runs the hottest due to not enough boosted air can really flow into that cylinder due to it's location at the very back compared to where the intake horn is . Is this right? I'm talking mainly about when you start making way more power and are dumping the fuel in. John

I have buddies that race turbo cars that make 1500+ hp and that is always a problem because they run EGT's in 1600 range, what they do id tap into the back of the heads and run a return line to the radiator and run pumps that move 55 gal per min of fluid to get rid of the heat, think of it like that is the last spot cooled before trying to return upfront.
