105 mph

42945/409=105

Did you have a reflash done or a ecm replaced?

Or do you just drive real fast all the time :D

911 hours and the ODO SHOWS 31522 miles.

comes out to 34. 6 Mph average... . if that were actual mileage.

i estimate my truck has closser to 33500 miles on it due to the 315's being on it and that comes out to 36 MPH average

oh, and i do idle a lot as well

neat trick. thanks

Grant

ouch.....

53796 miles

2264 hours

23. 76mph average

:) yeah, I suppose I do alot of idle time ya think? Hey it's cold out! :)

What other neat tricks can we do to see neat info? I know I with the DRBIII tool you can see how many gallons of fuel it thinks it burnt. and how many at idle. the amount of times the key is turned. .

15746 miles 492 hrs 32 mph

figuring 32 mph and my milage, I changed my oil 150 hrs ago (well before this afternoon!!).

150 hrs is 4800 miles, probably will strech it to about 6000 or about 185hrs. Seem right??

I don't want to make this a contest but....

Reading the above posts, you know I had to go check my truck. I knew before I looked it would be a low number. But I was amazed to find my '05 has 32756 miles and 1449 hours on it! That's an average of 22mph! The lowest I have seen posted!

I don't have a lot of idle time to speak of, but this is my every day driver and plow truck so that's what lowers the average. I know it's not my commute to work because I use my GPS to average my speed for me. I play this little game. Knowing it is 43 miles each way, I try to keep my average at or above so I know I will make it to work in an hour. It's not as easy as it sounds in the suburbs of Chicago.

What is sick is I just did the math and last year I spent 16% of my time in my truck. Counting awake hours that is more time than I spent with my wife/kids.

We all sleep close to a 33% of our life away, and work on average of 25%. Add driving in there at 16% for me and that only leaves 26% of my time to browse the TDR Forums!!! It's no wonder I can never keep up with all the posts!!! (or the honeydew list!)

You guys need to move somewhere where theres more 5 minute red lights and 3 second green lights :D

that sounds like my drive to work [especially coming home in the morning during rush hour... :(]

not sure what my hour count is right now... ? but it will be in the 20-29mph average area

So I wonder if DC will use this average to determine whether a truck should be using Schedule A or Schedule B maintenance? A low average could be interpreted as a lot stop and go driving. There are a couple of us here in the low 20’s.

I have an 06' and I cannot get this to work. Any ideas?

Should work just like DMriscin said in the first post. Just make sure you have the odometer displayed and not the trip meter displayed when you press and hold the reset button.

heh, yeah, mine dropped some more I'm sure. -15 out and the tailgate to the wind. I left my truck running at highidle for about 1. 5 hours. :)

Curious, anyone ever implanment and exhuast break like deal, but not for slowing down, just to allow for hotter EGT's when idling in the cold? maybe some sort of valve that can be placed downstreem in the exhaust?

69,973 miles and 1,360 hours

Looks like 51. 45 MPH

Do I win the prize??

:)

What it tells me is that I did way too much cross country driving last year!!

9972 miles/332 hours=30. 03 mph average

Don't call me Pop-pop. I don't do much highway driving except when I'm towing.

I wish I could do this trick on my Crown Vic Interceptor :--)

Actually I would start up in the morning before daylight and let it warm up for about 15 minutes and then never shut it down until I was through for the day, 10 hours later. I always let it idle during fuel stops/potty runs. I guess in the scheme of things that did not amount to much.

Finally did mine! 934 hours and 29,004 miles. Average of 31. 05 MPH. Almost looks like to too much idle time.
