I got laid off after September 11th, I was in the aircraft business. I moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana for work..... Now I have an empty house outside of San Antonio, TX. It is a 1500sq. ft. 2 story log house built in 1990. It sits on two acres out at Medina Lake (WNW of San Antonio. ) It has 3 bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. Your own septic system and well. The well is 500' deep. The bathroom is plumbed, wired, and sheetrocked. There is a deck off of the master bedroom upstairs. Down stairs has a fully finished and furnished bathroom. Large spacious kitchen with an island and lots of cupboard space. Dining room is connected to kitchen. Large living room. Circular driveway, lots of mature oaks, very wooded property. Large clearing directly behind the house about 100 feet back in the trees. A small path leeads to the clearing. The clearing is not visible from the road. Lots of local game in the area. Wild hogs, deer, coyotes, etc.



We are trying to sell the house ourselves. Cant really afford to go through an agent at this time. If anyone knows of someone who is interested please let me/them know about this.

Who did you work for? I lost my job at Bombardier Aerospace in October. I was out of work for 7 months, but finally got a job at Stevens Aviation in Broomfield CO last week. Good luck.

Klenger... ... . I worked for Dee Howard Aircraft Maintenance. We had about 1200 employees... ..... then after 9/11 and through the following months they were down to 150 employees. Then they filed chapter 11..... and sold the company to I believe it was singapore air. I am an Avionics Tech... ..... Sounds like you got it made..... would love to be in a state like that working on planes... . I spent 3. 5 years on alaska working F-15's, and an electrical bench tech. Do you have many aircraft companies up there?

Sorry, you are so right. I asked the wife and it was $189. For some reason when she was doing it I thought she told me $75. It worked out well, we have an electric gate out front and can't see the house from the road so people could go to the web site and view, and turned out to be very convienent for us.
