Norcal Dyno Day

Houston BOMB Party

Well fellas, it's time to install all those goodies you got for Christmas, or in Bill's case, the stuff you got at the 2001 Texas Rally. :D

David McLain at E. T. Performance in Pasadena has offered his shop at 2710 Preston for our use on Saturday January 18th. E. T''s Performance is inviting the LSTDR to some out and spend a day at his shop and bolt on all the neat stuff we got for Christmas this year. He will open the door for us at 10:00am. For those of us who are early risers, we can meet at Kelley's Country Kitchen on Spencer Highway at 8:30am and have a big helping of those 12" pancakes to keep us full until lunch.

I will bring my grill out and provide lunch so I will need a pretty good headcount so I can figure out how much stuff to bring. If you want, you can e-mail me at -- email address removed --

If there is something that you wished for and didn't get, you can call David at 713-490-2237 and see about getting it. He does carry Fleetguard filters and Royal Purple oil, so you can stock up without having to drive to the other side of town, He is also an authorized Bully Dog ans Superships distributor and can order anything you might need from their inventory.

Let's make the first gathering of the New Year a great one and show our support to the companies that are supporting us.

See ya then,

Curtis

C'mon down Jim.

I promise I'll try to keep the wrenches away from your turbos.

Psst Bill, You take Jim and show him the back of the building for about half an hour, I''ll whistle when I'm done. :D :-laf

BTW, if anyone is interested in seeing a 5th gear nut failure in person, gimme a shout before next weekend. That's when I plan on fixing that pesky little problem.

Hey Gitch, I'll try to get by for a short visit. I'm going to be working nite Safety for a local plant shutdown from Jan. 12 till ?. I know, I know, I'm supposed to be retired but when they stack the $$$ high enough I gotta go, need more goodies for my poor old ride.

Put me down for 2- I'll be HONGRY! :D

Y'all- when we get there, let's start a "kitty" to reimburse Gitch for the vittles and David for the utilities, sundries, etc. It's nice enough of 'em to do this for us- it shouldn't oughta cost 'em anything out-of-pocket. Comprende?

See y'all there!

Hey Curtis how did you find out about E T Performance or did the TDR Flier I gave Mandi W. on the Galveston Ferry(back in the September) finally pay off

And its about time ain't it Bill , you don't have to get up at the " Bu+t Crack of Dawn " to get there early , that is if your wife gonna let-ga go

Wayno good of you to do that as we really enjoyed chatting with David and Mandi at the Kerrville rally, got some pics up on David's site.

Jim

Wayne, you did it buddy. She told me she got a TDR flier.

Bill, no prob, got it covered.

They don't have to actually be on the truck do they?

Since Bill is coming, I should too. If that Jarhead can find his way there, then I should be real easy for me :D :D

GO ARMY!

THe driving directions are too easy:D

Jump on beltway and head to Pasadena. Take the Spencer Rd. Exit. If you plan on meeting us for breakfast, head east on Spencer for a couple of miles and the restaurant is on the left. If you can't make it that early and want to meet us at the shop after 10:00am, simply head West opn Spencer. When you get to Preston Blvd, hang a right, the shop is about a mile on the left. Look for all the trucks. :)

A dilemna

Well I gotta go to Lake Whitney that weekend to fish for an upcoming tournament, but this looks like the perfect opportunity to possibly get some help on oil changes for a CTD and maybe get some gauges into my new baby? It's my first CTD so I have no idea what an oil change entails, and I'd like to learn so I don't need to depend on the stealers... :D

Does someone have a source for an a-pillar mount and EGT and Boost gauge for an 03? If I can get my hands and some help on installing on them I'll be there! Oh and the assistance for an oil change... Thanks!

not sure I can make it but I will try. Haven't made a breakfast since the last bomb party. to long ago

I'll give you a hint- if you're facing Mickey and his arms are outstretched, his left hand is East. No, your OTHER left! Oh, forget it! :D

P. S. - Bring the rifle!
