Houston, Meeting #1 of the New Year

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

2nd Rocky MTN TDR

So how do you become a member of RM TDR

Hey guy's, we've missed a few meetings due to the holidays, ya'll think you can drag yourself back in January?

Location: Open

Date: Third Sunday in January 1/21/01

Consider an option to meet on Saturdays instead of Sundays. Maybe it would be more convenient and increase attendance.

Time: 7:00am, breakfast at 8:00am

Big John and MDW, any luck with a dyno?

TXRam, will probably have an EZ Edge to try out.

Shrimpy?

Cody, can you make it back with the cool First Generation?

We have two improvements since the last meeting: gitchesum has a good start on a Lone Star TDR website; and, some new blood. Joe (Cabntblder) is working hard to pull a local chapter together so let's do our part and be there for the next meeting. Maybe we can take it a few step further.

That day works for me. Anyone given thoughts to possibly moving dates to Saturday morning??? Or possibly Sunday afternoons say 1:00 or so?? Just wondering. 07:00 is awful early!!!! But if I must arise at that hour for some good Diesel conversation, then so be it!!!! Possible meeting place could be somewhere over around Sugarland area. Off of the HWY 6 area maybe. Don't know of any members over there but would be easy access for everyone.

P. S. Or we could move toward the East side.

I like the idea of rotating the location vs a permanent location as we've done so far.

Shrimpy, if you don't get up early, you'll miss all those pretty Cracker Barrel waitress' when their at the prime #ad
You know things go downhill after the breakfast rush.

That date also works for me. I'd be happy to come back if ya'll will have me again. I should have a little more pump tweaking done by then... . see just how good this 1st gen can run with the "other" trucks. I don't mind traveling to Houston, but I'd like it to be some place easy to get to. I'm not very familiar with Houston, but didn't have a problem finding the last meeting.

I'm willing to go along with the majority as I can, but consider:

Saturday mornings- many of us have to work then.

Sunday afternoons- football. This is TEXAS, fer cryin out loud! #ad

Early Sunday mornings- unless your Rams are SICKLY- you can make a 0700 roll call, eat & BS, and still make the 1100 service- might even be able to talk your way out of the ticket, too. (Unless your name is Jerry Jones!) #ad

Jan 21 is great for me. First weekend of my 7 off. I'll drive over Friday night and stay over. Kinda hard getting up at 4 if ya know what I mean. Waitresses aside, Cracker Barrel makes one helluva good breakfast. See ya then.

Sounds good to me.

I do have a couple of the EZ Edges for y'all to try out. Worked so good on mine, I need a new Torque Converter. As soon as the Christmas bills are paid, I'll be ordering one from Mr. Kondolay. I wish I had it yesterday, if you know what I mean.

If anyones interested in anything else, let me know and I'll try to have it by then.

How bout we meet this month at the Cracker Barrel on I-45 north this month and meet down on 59 south next month. Then we can switch to another place after that. Maybe the east side. Tell me what you think.

BTW, anyone know the name of the exit on 45?

The exit is Airtex. Sounds good to me!

I tried that one last meeting Chris. Didn't work. She's decided that trucks aren't her thing. I guess it's an all day shopping trip for her.

Hey guys, bring all the wives and girlfriends and we will send them to the mall in Gitchesum's truck with his credit cards #ad

Mine will probably be there.

Hi Gitch #ad

Is your invitation open to us lowly Kingwood people? If so then I will try to get off work that morning. I would like to put faces with all those names.

I also will be there. Someone that knows could possibly tell the rest of us the exit #. I know it is Airtex, but it should have a number also. My wifey will also be with me.
