Houston Members and anyone that has attended any of the Texas Rallies

I wanted to pass on some some terrible news about Michael Watkin's nephew David Cox. I know many of you guys knew David by either meeting him at the rally or hanging around Michael's shop.





David and his best friend Eli both died in a boating incident up at Lake Sam Rayburn this past weekend. I know this is short notice, but a Joint Funeral services for David and Eli will be held on March 8, 2007, at 2:00 p. m. at the Living Faith Outreach Church, 3700 Deats Road, Dickinson, Texas. The burial services will be announced at the funeral service.

This is hitting me harder than I thought it would. . I came to a screeching halt when I talked to Pam today and she broke the news to me. Had I known a day or two earler, I would have drove down to Dickinson to pay respects and condolences to my 'Texas Rally Party Buddy' and family... I am at a loss for words right now, and don't know what else to say.



I remember when Michael was kind enough to lend me his shop and put up with me for like a month, letting me fix my head gasket at his shop, David came over and helped me out. . David was the first person to take me for a ride in a BOMB'd Dodge. . I didn't get to hang out with him as much as I would have liked to, but he was awesome. No other word to describe him. He will be deeply missed, and please keep Pam, Mike, and their family in your prayers.
