How are the BFG's on/off road wearing on the 03's?

Just wondering as when I get mine in want the dealer to trade the std tires out for these. Only getting a 4x2 but for the off-roading want a more aggressive tire. Are they that noisy or is the wind noise from the doors worse? Is the spare a std or the on/off road (need to swap 4 or 5)?



Also, any one found a good STRONG (ie: moose/elk) front guard yet (other than a make-it-yourself)? Seen a Lauverne (sp) on another dealers units but doesnt look that strong for the lite guards. If a frontal maybe but a side-swipe migh do more damage than w/o it.





PS: in answer to the below question... I think they are AT's but didnt look that close at em.

Ben, are you referring to the AT or MT tires. I currently have about 45k on my AT's and still have around 40% tread left. Maybe as low as 30% but am not sure.

I have them on mine and I really like them. For a factory tire I have been impressed. I tow a sport trailer loaded with Quads all over the mountains and I like the way the dig in and pull up the hills. As for the highway, even with these "quiet" engines I still can't hear any highway noise at all. I would recommend them
