I have a big deck... about 40', believe it or not! I think the dog hides balls under it. :-laf

Nah its just the wet warm climate that does it... . Being in the shade all the time dosent help matters either...

a friend of mine had some insect like critters on his deck once and had to attack them with some sort of insecticide. For me I always protect my deck.
