I know a guy (goes to my church) that is selling a 1995 2500HD 4x4 Club Cab Long Bed Laramie SLT. 162,000 miles, Full Banks Power Pack ($2500), 285/75/R16 BFG's, 15K Fifth wheel hitch, Reman. Auto transmission (stock I think) installed at 153,000 miles with 27K of the warranty remaining, 4. 10 gears, rear end replaced at 132,000 miles, Dealer maintained w/ records, Body in very good condition.

So, what is a fair price? The KBB says $13715 retail and $11135 private seller. I'd love to have this truck (except for the AT) but haven't been in the market for a while.

Thanks.

I'd like to get it because we're going to have to re-car the wife soon anyway. I'd give her my '01 and take the '95 for myself. Wish I'd bought a long bed in the first place, but living in eastern Jersey where parallel parking is a way of life precluded that. Now I'm back in NC, so bring on the land yachts.

I'm new to the auto thing. Would a trans w/ the valve body and TC upgrade do the trick, or would it be THAT much better to go with the full (insert your favorite transmission vendor here) upgrade?
