Just had my dealer flush the trany 100% with new fluid, before this summers cross country trek. Now my transmission has 1-2 pts too much fluid, above the full mark.

Is there an easy way I can remove this fluid and avoid the 50 mile trip to the dealer and have to wait another hour to get back on the road?

Is draining it out the dip stick tube an option? How is that done?

Thanx,

Joe

you could get a suction gun [like a super sized syringe] and some 1/4" od line and suck it out the dipstick hole...

just making sure, but you did check the oil level with the truck running right?

Also needs to be in neutral. This is unless they changed things so you don't have to anymore. The 47REs need to be, anyways.

I would not worry about it. I doubt it will hurt anything as it is not that much. I've had trannies that were way over filled and they just blew it out the vent until it got low enough.
