On the post shutdown heat buildup under the hood.
Other than opening the hood,
Has anyone tried to suck out the underhood heat with a fan or blower? Idea is to not let the heat buildup in the first place.
Put a timer and fan that can duct the under hood heat out of the engine compartment fairly quickly. I'm trying a 145 cfm blower mounted to the TPS cover and suck hot air out and blow it out under the front about where a lot of us have the blowby hose attached (after we ditched the bottle) (with an old athletic sock on it to catch the oil mist) down on the frame directly under the windshield washer tank. IF i can keep the heat from building up to start with, that should help the VP44 I think.
Ideas? Comments? Thoughts?
