How do I change a ve to p7100 pump?

I have a 91 ctd would like to change to ap7100 pump. What parts do I need to do this? I have a 95 160hp p7100 pump,Head,injecter lines,exhuast manifold. Where do I get a shop manual? on these motors

if you do a search on this you might be disapionted. i've heard you need to change out the wole front gearcase, since the p-pump mounts diffrently. i think someone with more experience could chime in here.

Some say just buy a second gen motor but I'll say that I have been doing fine just buying all the parts off ebay. Got the gears got the front casing and cover etc. I guess it depends on your cash and time constraints.

from what I udnerstand,, you need to change the timing housing and pump gear. And since you have a newer head too I would go ahead, do some port and polishing work and swap it out too, more options for injectors.
