I replaced my PC's original 90G drive with a Maxtor 200G. The original drive was formatted roughly C: = 12G, D: = 78G. I used the Max Blast software that came with the drive to set it up. One utility was copy partition from one drive to another. I copied my C: and D: drives from the old drive to the new one, disconnected the old drive and rebooted. The new drive shows up as C: and I:, with no D: drive showing up at all. No matter how I install the drive, I get the same thing. I tried low level format and then recopy drives and get the same result. Can I somehow assign I: as D:?
