Mine was built on 2/23/01 and finished QA on 2/26/01, it was delivered to the dealer on 3/10/01, it was prepped on 3/16/01 at 4:15 pm and I took delivery on 3/20/01 at 4:00 PM.

Mine is a ETC not a ETH. The Cummins is AWESOME!

Smokin' Joe,

Our trucks are only days apart. I ordered mine on Jan 16th. Feb 23 sounds about right for the date of production, give or take a day. They called me at 7:30PM on the 20th of March to tell me the truck was at the dealers. Picked it up the next day. I checked it out before they prepped it and there were QC sheets in the cab with notations about 'loose antenna' and other such. I wish I'd taken them before they threw them away on me!

I followed the railcar as it traveled from St. Louis to Ridgefield, NJ. It was all I could do to keep from checking it every hour.

rubberneck,

We're with you man! Try to hold on!! #ad

They actually DO make it to the dealership...

thanks for the link, i am going to call first thing in the morning. getting so darn anxious(sp) for this thing to show up. the dealer told me it would be here between 3-15 and 3-20, guess we wont be making that deadline. LOL any way i don't mind waiting all that much, just hope all is well when it finally gets here. I've been reading some of the posts on QC issues, and i'm nervous. thanks again Phil

rubberneck, be sure to ask which carrier and car number. Once you have that, you can "track" the rail car to it's destination on the net. Mine came via Norfolk Southern and I tracked from St. Louis to NJ. Sure helps to pass the time and build the excitement.

Rubberneck -

Carrier is pretty simple... . Anything west of the Mississippi River is carried by UP. East its a toss up between Norfolk and Southern and CSX, depending on where your at.

Just get a railcar number and I can track it better then you can.

big saint, kat, thanks for the help, I called today, to get the rail car # but they said it was not available as they showed my truck had already been off loaded, and was waiting for a car carrier to bring the truck to the dealer. sounds promising, maybe next week????
