Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) How do I get air out?

I just changes my fuel filter. What is the easyest way to get air out? I turned it over with the fuel shut off selnoid. then pluged it in and cant get it running.

I got it. Called jh perf. I did not know there was a primer on the lift pump. Too used to the 2001.

I've gotten lazy about pushing the primer and now just crack the bleed screw on top the filter housing then pressurize the tank with a air blow gun and rag stuffed in the fuel tank fill. Takes about 30 seconds to fill an empty filter and purge the air. Best done with two people so you know when the filter is filled.
