Where can I buy an adaptor to plug the RV 30amp cord into my Honda generator. Can't you run more stuff off the 30amp connection without tripping it? Thanks in advance...

You can get an adapter at just about any RV place. Maybe even try a local hardware store.

I didn't see one at Campingworld but maybe I just over looked it. I'll try Walmart or Home Depot or something.

I don't think Home Depot will have one, but you could buy the plugs and wire to build it yourself. Otherwise, a camping store will have the adapter cord or at least a 30A RV pigtail that you could attach the Standard 30A male plug to. My local cummins store also has the converter cord.

eu3000 worked great this weekend at around 8000 ft. The only problem I would have is if the air conditioning was running for a while when it would start cycling on and off it would bog down the gen sometimes and not want to start back up. This is on the Eco mode. If it was on full speed mode it wouldn't do that at all. I could run my fridge, tv/dvd, fan, lights and air conditioning all at the same time and it's really quite. I couldn't run the microwave and air conditioning at the same time. Very impressed with this gen. Bad news is some punk kids stole my 5lb gas can :rolleye:. I had enough gas in it to last the rest of the time. I need to buy some chains and locks I guess.

Clayton, have you got the 15k btu AC option? I'm interested to know as all the previous comments i've seen were on 13. 5k units. We are just getting into AC weather now.
