Here are some pics of how I overfill my getrag by one quart. This first pic is of the passenger side of getrag. Showing fill hole and PTO cover bolts. I remove the top bolt out of the PTO cover and use a simple pump that originally came from Wallyworld in a outboard boat motor lower unit gear oil kit. I'm sure one can buy this pump from a parts store or use something similar. The pump has a threaded tip that threads nicely into the PTO bolt hole, and screws down onto you 5w30 bottle. Only thing is if you use Mobil One synthetic engine oil, they come with a big mouth bottle, not like conventional motor oil or gear oil bottles' caps, as you will see in pics. What I will use is a empty gear oil bottle, or if one fears contamination from gear oil, one can use a empty conventional motor oil quart and fill it with the contents of the Mobil one motor oil, then repeat for the 4. 5-5 quarts. Simple no spills, no fooling around with shifter removal or should I say shifter installation.
