I have tried unsuccessfully several times now to remove the factory installed silver/chrome looking air deflector on the front of my truck. If you are unsure of what I am talking about, take a look in my photo gallery, I have a few pics there. It seems pretty simple, 4 philips head screws hold it on, but when I try to reverse the screw to remove, it just spins and spins and spins, and doesn't back out. Any ideas??

I saw a flame red truck like mine the other day, without the deflector, and liked the clean look it had.

If I remeber correctly they are the press in type stud. They open up inside like a molly bolt. try prying the center pin out of it and see if the pin pulls out from the center.

Yes, the centers are just pushed in. My deflector is an aftermarket unit. The head on my center pins stick up enough to make them easy to grab & pull.

You can just pull them out or very easily you might be able to unscrew them. I got my old one off by gently unscrewing them enough to grab the plastic screw head with a set of pliers. Then just pull.

I parked mine in a "PARKING LOT", and when I came back after 20 minutes, it was GONE! I did it in broad daylight too!
