How do you check the timing?!

What is the stock timing of these engines? I see boxes out there that change the timing of the truck. Just what exactly do they change the timing to? I think the manufacturers of these aftermarket chips should be obligated to tell us. Does the TSt box for example increase timing as you increase the power level on the box? As a former 12v owner I would like to know just what the heck timing I am at!

Timing is variable electronic, the ecm makes adjustments depending on conditions.



You could monitor the fuel injector circuit wires.
