I think I blew an inline fuse on my stereo and I just want to know what I have to do to get it out to check on it without messing anything up!

Remove the screw behind the trash bag hook situated to the right of the center panel. Gently remove the entire center panel. Remove the screws holding the radio and pull it out. Reassemble in reverse order. HTH.

Thankx bagger: I have one more speaker to replace and then it was to the stereo. Read this post with about 1/2 hour to spare! I'm not taking mine out to check a fuse == I'm taking it out to put a radio/CD player that will hopefully continue working longer than 2 weeks. My stock one quit playing CD's - it's only 2 weeks old. Stopped at a dealer and they told me it would have to be sent in. hahahahaha. I went an bought a nice one. Anyway thanks bagger for the timely tip.

You're both welcome. JWolf, please tell me what size speakers are in the front and rear doors. It will save me a teardown. This way I'll only have to do it once. Also, are you installing speakers in the speaker provisions in the dash? If so, what size speakers go there, and is the truck prewired for those speakers? Thanks in advance for your answers.

The fronts are 6X9, 4 mounting holes and the rear are 5 1/4 with 3 mounting holes. I am only putting in a 4 speaker system so am not putting anything in the dash.
