how do you get the silencer ring off a 6.7!!!

how do you figure? the 6. 7 is dang near silent out the pipe with all the emissions corks in it. removing the silencer ring is going to make the turbo MUCH louder than larger diameter tailpipe

Does anyone think removing the intake baffel to get a little more turbo noise would hurt anything? It looks like air might not get to the turbo as good without it?
