Basic warranty question re- BOMBS

Need fast input on twins, towing or street/strip?

I would like to know from those who have a ATS transmission how do you like it,would you buy it again, how much H. P your making and do you pull or race with it. Thanks for any input.

ats

I researched, read, called people, ect and decided on ATS. B4 I could buy one I had two friends buy one on my advice. One 96 and a 97. both slightly bombed. Both had the transmission fail and got horrible cust service and support. I will admit that some of the bad service was from the shops (two different shops) that did the work but but ultimately ATS was not helpfull. IMO I will be going with someone else for a transmission IMO IMO

Hey TJ, how you been? Wanna convert that shifter in to SHIFTLESS? Oh yeah over 150k on my ATS and still taking all I can throw at it, and I dont' think my right foot knows anything but the floor mat. Some people here could vouch for me on that FACT! Did i mention over 600 passes at the 1/4 mile?

My ATS Stage 3 was my best mod yet. Shifts great, customer service was great. I bought the parts dierect from ATS, had a local shop do the install, TC & VB. Ran the truck down to Dave's Diesel in Angola IN, had him install the ATS Commander, turbo, manifold, etc... You should give them a call, he sells/installs BD-Power, ATS and a few DTT transmissions. Do a search over at DTR for his phone number, ask for Rick, he is the owner. He is a straight shooter, with a VERY BUSY shop. Draws customers from 4 states, wish I would have found him earlier.

As far as the transmission, no problems here. My truck is probably, haven't dynoed yet, around 460-500hp to the ground. Lifts the steer tires off the pavement! You should have seen the look on my wife's face, priceless! Had to turn it down due to winter, oh well, spring will be here soon enough. :D

Got a stage 4 in my 99, fine so far but the #53 on my block sorta took the wind outa my sails. I've called ATS a few times and was treated in a patient manner, not hurry up you're asking stupid questions as others have reported. If not for the 53 block I'd be glad I spent the money, now there will be a good bit less to put down on a truck that won't need re- enginered just to make it what it should have been from the start. I love it, I beat the hell out of it and I run alot more HP through it than a year and a half ago when I last updated my sig.
