How do you remove the dealers badge?

How do you get the dealers badge off the tailgate? Mine seems to have been affixed with 5200.



Not really, but it feels like it.



Anyone know how to get this damned thing off without damaging my 03' delicate paint?

heat it up with a hair dyer or a heat gun just enough to loosen the glue but not enough to heart the paint.

Make them take it off or send them a bill for advertising

I use rbeatty's method and if that doesn't work or of all of the glue refuses to come off with it I use a little 3m decal remover on the residue. Don't hit the decal remover with heat though.

Tell the dealer to take it off. Also, Tell them they are responsible for any damage that occurs while they take it off. Why, Because you did not want to be a commercial for them.

I once chewed out the service manger at my dealer because they put the software update sticker on my upper rad core support and not in the glove box where I requested it. Needless to say, I removed the sticker and gave it back to him, along with a positive attitude.
