how do you turn on foglights in '03 ??

im a new member to the forum and think i will learn alot off of this site. . was wounderin how to turn on the foglights on my 03 ram??they dont turn on when i flip the brights on so what gives??thanks robert

There is a separate switch, just left of the steering column.

pull towards you on the regular light switch to turn the foglights on.

If you're interested in lighting more up, check out the brite box with fog light control. It'll kick on your high beam, low beam, and fogs all at the same time when you turn the high beams on.

Buddy's foglight switch is separate. Lenses say Hella, but I think they're factory. Dad's Mopar kit bought "aftermarket" included a new main switch with pullout on/off for foglights. Maybe they had two different setups for '03.

They come on with just the park lights and stay on with the high beams.

You definatly have aftermarket ones. The Dodge OE ones do not have any "brand labeling" on them, and cannot legally stay on with the bright lights.

I believe there are factory installed lights and dealer installed lights. I think even the dealer installed ones are available thru Mopar but they cost less than the full factory installed lights

What do you mean brand labeling? My OEM fogs on my '04 say "Hella" on the top of lenses. Did something change during 03-04?



And if I remember correctly, the fog light option was $140. The Mopar kit was $200, give or take.

Small letters in the top center say "Hella".
