Not a chance! I think that has been pretty well proven with the Scary Larry tunes.

I don't care who the builder is, these transmissions will NOT take unlimited +25 psi boost lanches in a 7k truck. There simply is not enough material or strength in available parts to handle the amount of power a BOMBed engine will make. ;)

in my oppinion if you launch over 25psi your stupid, your just asking for something to break, launch at 20 and never have a problem... .....

im not the only one that feels this way, it's pretty simple, not to offend, but i've never ever seen a problem with 20 psi launches on a heavely modded truck, as soon as they went over to around 25, sh** breaks. you buying from me or not, ive seen enough of this to know what works and what dont, i could give a list of those who dont reccomend 25+psi launches out of a heavy modded truck, goerends, NADP, ATS, and the list goes on... ... .

General rule is at 10+ psi you had BETTER have billet shafts or the only question is when will it break. What exactly did you have for parts in the trans and what broke?

Wade says he is having luck at 20 and I won't disagree, but, that is pushing the envelope even for a full billet trans. Little or no wheel spin with a heavily fueled truck and there is a LOT of TQ going thru some rather light pieces that would take custom machining to fix.

Stage 5 billit input and output, I was told the first gear clutches were welded together. I dont think it had to do with the commander though just holding the truck onder boost, it took off like the tires were spinning but they werent. I let out and hit it again, went fine in second third ect... But when I slowed down it was slipping BAD!!!!! and wouldnt shift out of drive, the shifter moved around loosly but didnt do anything in the trans.

Yep, and when you fix that it will more than likely rip the intermediate shaft right out of the forward drum. That happens to be one of the weak spots that doesn't get a lot of attention. I have seen them break with less than what your sig indicates. You have my sympathy. :(

Soooo Wade, what would happen to your trans if you deleted the TQ management and launched at 20 psi? Didn't you break one already or did you find another problem? :)

i've deleted tq managment before, but i've got way too much tq to even play around with, 17-1800tq off the line is bad... ... know what i mean

I have been told that the billet intermediate shafts are not any stronger than the stock ones that are already in there, and that they may even be weaker, dont know for a fact just heard a lot about it
