this combination sound, and what kind of numbers can I expect with it? I'll be towing a 7k# camper probably two weekends a month... other than that, it's empty, back and forth to work... maybe a few county fair pulls thrown in, just to have a lil fun from time to time.

97 4x4, AT... a full-on DTT will come first

#6 plate, 3k GSK(should I go 4k?), ATS 3pc, DD3's(very open to suggestions on sticks), and a PDR HX40

I'm very fluent with the gassers, but this is my first foray into the diesel world. I want parts matched to each other, working together for a good drivable pkg. I'm thinking PDR street twins in the future, so the ATS 3pc and HX40 would be a partial investment into the future.

I have not towed much at all with my PDR HX40. It can get a little toasty with the mods listed in my signature. I had a #6 in there before but can not recall how well it performed. I personaly think you will have to drive with an eye on the pyro with your proposed set-up.

Upon reading your post again, you might be alright if you leave your #6 plate in the stock position. But I also think you will be borderline and any more fuel will send you into the 1500 degree area in a hurry. I am a fan of the 3k GSK.

Thanks guys, I was looking at the HTB2 as well... is that a Schwitzer variant? I hate being new to something and not knowing simple stuff, but it's always fun to learn!
