At what point does your warranty become void when you do bombing, does any body no, or what can you put on your truck with out loosing your warranty. Thanks in advance.

Bombing automatically means:
"You are your own warranty station"

WHATEVER engine mods you put on your truck it seems the dealer can then void the warranty.
Even if they have to prove the mods DID damage the engine, you are out of luck while in arbitration- and that can go either way.

Lots of Bombing manufacturers point out in their products to REMOVE THEM when going to DC for service. That's why DD offers 'stealth' injectors, and EZ boxes unplug and remove in minutes.

Besides, with the quality of repairs you get from DC dealers, why bother or worry about the warranty?

It depends a great deal on who your dealer is. Remove as many BOMB mods as possible before taking it in, and don't be surprised if you end up knowing more about your Cummins engine than the Daimler/Desoto Tech does.

I was talking to the head Dodge trans tech at a local dealer one day, during the time I was deciding between a manual-trans V10 or Cummins. At the time, I told the tech that I’d probably go with the V10 if only they would put the NV5600 in it—I think differently now. He said they did! I told him they did not. He “told” me that they did and that he just worked on two NV5600’s and they were in V10’s. I told him he was working on diesels and that the V10 does not come with the NV5600. He was certain they did.

Ditto on the hide your bombing mods before bringing your truck in for any service. I was in an argument with my dealer in DE while in there buying trim screws. He saw my truck and asked i guess had never seen the cummins engine (Thats reassuring coming from the service manager at the dealer). He saw the 0880 filter (before i had the psychotty on it. And asked if it was stock. I told him no, i added it and the first thing he said is, "oh, you know your warranty is void then" When i asked him why he said, "you cant modify anything the engine in any way" i asked him to show me in writing that i cant change the air cleaner. Obviously he could not produce that info. At that point a much more intelligent DC employee filled me (and the incompetent service writer) in on the details of the warranty issue. Which as mentioned be others, a part or parts, will only be voided if a customer modification causes the failure. But they cant just void your whole warranty because of one modification. And they would have to try really hard to prove that changing the air cleaner could damage something on the engine.
