Trick My Truck on CMT

confirmed: I'm not crazy or... there are a lot of others who are?

anyway. i little hint to moving a heavy vehicle by yourself. to get them moving or over a high spot (like the transition into the garage from rock driveway) you can instead of pushing grap a tire at the 10 and 2 position and twist it the direction you need to move. It's easier than just good ol buck'n and fart'n and slipping in the gravel.

I spent money for that engine and it will be used..... now granted I do let it run for a short period to let oil pressure come up... . then move it... . then shut it off.

Besides, most of my short moves are with a hot engine anyway.

If I have to go some place 1 - 4 hours after it's been shut down on a colder day. I typicaly let the grid heater do it's thing while at idle, or I hold the peddle at 1200 rpm's or something for the 2 minutes it cycles the heater grid. Oil pressure is like 5 seconds, if that once started at any tempature.
