After changing every sensor on the truck basically except for the TPS, I've decided to go ahead and change it as soon as possible to see if it will fix the miss that alot of us have been having. I'm sure some of you have changed it and I was just curious to see how you did it, It doesnt look that hard at all but maybe I'm missing something. Another thing is, I have 54 thou miles on my truck and my dealer told me that it wasnt covered under warranty b/c of my milelage and it's not a Internal part of the engine which would be the 5yr/100k miles, well they priced it at $430 to me and I about flipped so I called my local Cummins dealer and they told me they would give it to me for $350 which is a very reasonable price considering the difference. Well I got to thinkin that if the part number I gave them, since it is a Cummins OEM part that maybe they would replace it for me since it is a defect that I have no control over. I would appreciate for some of you to shed some light on this one. Thanks

It's easy to replace, only takes about 10 minutes tops - just follow the directions in the service manual and it's a no brainer. It is only covered for 3/36,000 unforetunately - hated replacing that sucker for the price!

Well, thanks for the reply Steve. As soon as I get back from my snow skiing trip I'm gonna head over to Cummins and pick up the TPS and put it on myself since you think that I should be able to tackle it. Thanks again
