Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) How hard to change VP-44?

How hard o job is it, how long does it take, Special tools? Best place to get a new pump? TIA

Well at a dyno day in KC last summer two/three guys did it in the parking lot in a matter of a few hours. It's really not all that hard, no special tools are required just patience. And as far as getting a new pump it would depend on what you were wanting to do? Those same guys swapped to the Piers "hot rod" (i believe) and not having been 'properly' broke in I was sold on the HP difference in gain. But if going stock is your desire you can still get one through them or a countless amount of places.
