The bombing bug bit a while ago , put a #11 in and with the help of other TDR members got it tuned up to where it runs pretty good. I have the pyro pre turbo so my question is, I can run a pretty good hill (about a mile) at 8-10% grade and with the pedal mashed to the floor the truck reached about 1225 degrees at the top. The temperature took a the complete hill to get there. At this rate is it safe to say that the plate can be slid forward a bit more with little concern of temps? (afc is full forward not sure where the star wheel is and there is minimal smoke. Thanks

A sustained run at that temp is one thing,, keep an eye on your coolant temps if you pull it like that for long... remember, the casting starts to soak up that heat after a while and by the time you coolant shows as "unusually high" you're at or over the "wise" range... JMO...
