Holeshot is in Gardner, so meet up at the rest area off the Pike... . you guys figure out what time and which rest area.



FireChick, how about hooking up with them at the Westbound rest area around exit 70, where is that exactly? Again, we need to work out a time.



Let's meet up with me at the first rest area just past the CT/NY border, just on the downhill after exit 17, the Stormville rest area. I'm sure everyone will be ready for a rest area?



If you need me to, I can plot this on the GPS software and get more refined meet times, but I need more info.



I'll try to make sure I have everyone's number, Figgy, I'll drop you a line when I know more.

Well you don't have to meet Holeshot on the Pike. He's going his own route down this way and will join us on 84 at the rest area I proposed in Stormville. . Meeting time there is now 10AM... Stay tuned to find out if BigDig will hook up with Firechick at the rest area near exit 71 west... . or will they all meet at the Stormville rest area?

Sorry haven't been posting... I work weekends. :{



I will be leaving Thurs morning and whatever we decide for the overnight..... where ever we end up we should call Figgy and see if they could meet us there for the night. This way we all (both convoys) come rolling into Muncie together

by warrenty thank god... . paint was way way too thin

-Lost my truck for a week

-Given an 88 Chrys Lebaron

-Speedometer only read in Km, when it worked

-Left headlight out

-Driver door didn't unlock with the key (went through pass)

-Hands stuck to steering wheel

-Couldn't see above the dash (not because I'm short)seat wouldn't move... . electronic

-Used twice as much fuel as my truck

-And oh my god..... I was sitting on the ground!!!! A friggen VW but was bigger than me!!!! :{



Very, very, very, bad experience... ... got my truck back

Congrats on getting your truck back!!! Talk about sitting on the ground, I got a Neon for a loaner once! But the worst was a Stratus -- it had the worst seats I ever tried to sit in, kind of the 'Cruel Shoes' of the auto industry.



Bigdig and Firechick: Can you work it out so that you're in the Stormville rest area to meet up by 10:00 AM? If you want to use Mapquest to plan an ETA, Stormville is the nearest town (Really!) and it's just up the hill from where I84 meets the Taconic Parkway.



Not to put too fine a point on it, but cell phones have a funny way of not working when you are running late and have people waiting on you. Our normal operating procedure when we hook up is to wait 15 minutes for folks and no longer. I see no reason to change this. Do what you have to to be on time!!!!!!

i think that if bigdig leaves at approx 6am... he's see me around 8am-ish in west hartford area (guessing about 2hrs for him to get there but gonna check)... . see you hopefully around 10am-ish.

As for the second convoy, I think it's down to Snowman, who's leaving at 10PM and Figgy who's leaving ???? Soldie is now going with Scott, and I hear so is Mactruck... . So the question is more like is Figgy going with us, by himself, or with Snowman? We can try to hook up in the evening, but I won't be making definite plans around what someone else might be doing... ...
